★★★★★Love the old printing press in the corner. Gets busy at 8 am, so come early for a table.

For seventy years this building printed the Tanner's Ford Daily Ledger. When the presses stopped, the room sat quiet. Nora Whitaker, a baker, and her brother Gus, a longtime newspaper editor, bought it with a plan: put the bread where the ink used to be.
They kept the brick, the high ceilings, and one retired press, which now holds the best table in the house. The televisions stay on low in the mornings because, as Gus says, the news has always been on in this room.
